Pasito is a language-learning app for iPhone. It is built so that your learning stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. Pasito has no account or sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not run a server that receives your data.
What stays on your iPhone
- Your course, progress, word memory, streak and settings are stored in a file inside the app. They are part of your normal iPhone backup and are deleted with the app.
- Speaking exercises: when you tap the microphone, Pasito uses Apple's speech recognition in on-device mode to compare what you said with the sentence. Audio is not recorded, stored or sent anywhere. If your iPhone has no on-device model for a language, the exercise becomes "listen and repeat" instead of using an online service.
- AI conversations run on Apple's on-device language model (Apple Intelligence). Your messages are processed on your iPhone and are not sent to us or to anyone else.
- Translations of a message use Apple's Translation framework on your device.
- Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone; you can turn them off at any time.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details; Apple's privacy policy applies to those transactions.
Permissions
Microphone and Speech Recognition are requested only when you first start a speaking exercise and are used only for it. Notifications are requested only if you choose a daily reminder.
Children
Pasito does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
