Yes, the Structured app is free to download and use: its day timeline, inbox, subtasks, widgets, focus timer and sync cost nothing. Repeating tasks, calendar and Reminders import, AI planning, Replan and custom notifications need Structured Pro, which you can rent by the month or the year or buy once. The US App Store lists Pro at $2.99 to $7.99 a month, $9.99 to $49.99 a year and $99.99 as a single payment (US App Store prices on October 30, 2026; they may change).

Is Structured free?

Structured says downloading and using the app costs nothing, with no ads and no selling of your data, and that without Pro you still get almost every feature. According to its help center, the free app covers timeline tasks, all-day tasks, an inbox, subtasks, notes, icons and color coding, drag-and-drop planning, notifications, widgets, sync, the energy monitor and some look-and-feel settings; its App Store page adds a focus timer, Live Activities and syncing with Apple Watch and Mac. The catch is repeating tasks, which need Pro. Of the 500 newest US reviews (February to October 2026), 51 bring it up, and 34 of those give three stars or fewer. On the free plan you can duplicate a task by hand or, on iPhone, a whole day.

How much does Structured cost?

Structured Pro adds Structured AI, calendar import, Reminders import (iPhone), repeating tasks, Replan, which reschedules missed tasks (iPhone), custom notifications, a custom color palette and premium icons. Structured's help center says Pro can be rented monthly or yearly or bought outright, with weekly plans in some Android regions and, in some App Store regions, a plan that spreads a year's price over twelve monthly payments, and that prices depend on your region, currency and purchasing power. The US App Store lists Structured Pro (Monthly) at $2.99, $6.99 and $7.99, Structured Pro (Yearly) at $9.99, $29.99, $34.99, $39.99 and $49.99, and Structured Pro (Lifetime) at $99.99, without saying which price you will be shown. Structured says the one-time purchase covers current and future Pro features. App Store purchases can be shared through Family Sharing, and Pro carries over to your other Apple and Android devices and to Structured Web through iCloud or Structured Cloud sync. These are US App Store prices on October 30, 2026, and they may change.

Handful or Structured: how they compare

Handful, made by the AppHunt team, is the free alternative if you want a daily plan without paying to repeat a task. Repeats cost nothing in Handful (every Friday, every other week), and they are what Structured's reviewers complain about most. Give tasks estimates such as ~45m, and Today totals them against the time left and tells you whether the day fits; when the day ends, Wrap Up moves unfinished tasks along by hand, where Structured's Replan is automatic and part of Pro. There is no account or ads, and widgets, a Mac app and iCloud sync are free. Handful Plus, which adds calendar events, shared projects, voice capture and Apple Watch, is free with AppHunt's promo code at apphunt.app/app/handful-plus. Handful is not a timeline planner: Today is a list with a total, not blocks you drag around a clock, and there is no Android or web version. It needs iOS 26 or later, its Apple Watch app belongs to Plus (Structured's Watch sync is free), and it is new, with no ratings yet.

Structured: questions and answers

Is Structured free?

Yes. Structured says the app can always be used for free, with no ads and no sale of your data, and the free version includes its timeline planner, inbox, subtasks, notes, widgets and sync. What needs Structured Pro is repeating tasks, calendar and Reminders import, AI planning, Replan, custom notifications, a custom color palette and premium icons.

How much does Structured cost?

Structured's paid tier is called Pro (some people search for it as Structured Premium). It is rented by the month or the year or bought once, and Structured says prices depend on your region. The US App Store lists monthly plans at $2.99, $6.99 and $7.99, yearly plans from $9.99 to $49.99 and the one-time purchase at $99.99; the paywall in the app shows which one you get. US App Store prices on October 30, 2026; they may change.

Is there a Structured promo code?

AppHunt has no promo code for Structured. Structured's own route to a discount is its scholarship: anyone who can't afford Pro at full price can apply through a form linked in its help center, and an accepted request brings a code for the annual subscription, valid for one year and redeemable once on Structured Web at checkout. Structured doesn't discount the lifetime plan. If a free planner will do, Handful is free, and AppHunt has a promo code at apphunt.app/app/handful-plus that unlocks Handful Plus.

Does Structured have a free trial?

Yes. Starting the trial in the App Store, Google Play or Structured Web gives three days of Pro, and it turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Buying lifetime during the trial does not cancel it. One 2026 reviewer finds three days too short to judge the app, and another says the full yearly price was charged within a day of starting, so set a reminder on day one.

Are repeating tasks free in Structured?

No. Structured's help center lists recurring tasks as a Pro feature, and it is the most common complaint in 2026 reviews. Without Pro you add each occurrence by hand, duplicate a task or, on iPhone, duplicate a whole day. Handful repeats tasks for free, including patterns such as every other week.

How do I cancel Structured Pro?

In the iPhone app, open Settings, tap the Structured Pro entry at the top, choose Manage Subscription and cancel, or cancel from your Apple Account's Subscriptions list, at least 24 hours before renewal. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Web subscriptions are managed through Paddle from Structured Web. Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases, and Structured's support handles Google Play and web ones.

What do reviews of the Structured app say?

Structured has 168,205 ratings averaging 4.8 in the US App Store, and 310 of its 500 newest reviews (February to October 2026) are five-star. People like the timeline, the widgets and its use for ADHD, and several praise the one-time purchase. The complaints are repeating tasks needing Pro, an AI planner some find unhelpful, and, from a couple of reviewers, events created in Structured that don't sync back to their calendar.

What is the best free alternative to Structured?

If you want a daily plan without paying for repeats, Handful, made by the AppHunt team, is free: quick entry, repeating tasks, estimates with a Today fit check, Wrap Up, widgets, a Mac app and iCloud sync, with no account or ads. It has no visual timeline, no Android or web version and needs iOS 26 or later, so Structured is still the better pick for time blocking; our list of free to-do list apps compares more options.
