Klavi, from the AppHunt team, also listens to your own piano, and its free part covers Piano Basics, 11 easy songs and a daily round of each trainer, with no account and no ads. Is Skoove free?
Skoove says Skoove Basic gives you selected lessons from its courses for free, and the App Store text invites you to try some lessons at no cost. The pricing page describes the free tier as limited access to lessons, courses and songs, and doesn't list which ones. Skoove has no ads, according to its own pricing page. Lessons are available only in the iOS and Android apps, not on the desktop site or in a Windows or Mac app, says its help center. Reviews from 2025 and early 2026 often say the paywall arrives after the first lesson or song.

Klavi or Skoove: how they compare
Klavi, made by the AppHunt team, does the central thing Skoove does: it hears your piano through the microphone or over USB and Bluetooth MIDI and gives feedback note by note. In Wait mode the music pauses until you find the right key, and a wrong key is named back to you. Six courses with 36 lessons teach you to read notation from lesson one, 32 pieces come at up to three levels, and Note Sprint, ear and rhythm trainers add practice. The free part is Piano Basics plus the opening lesson of each other course, 11 easy songs and a daily round of each trainer, with no account and no ads. Klavi Pro, which opens everything, is free with AppHunt's promo code at apphunt.app/app/klavi-pro; the App Store sells it at $39.99 a year, $89.99 once or $4.99 a week. Skoove is much bigger, though: it has hundreds of lessons and its songs include pop and chart hits, where Klavi has classical, folk and holiday pieces. Skoove also runs on Android, while Klavi is built for iPhone with iOS 17 or later, has no Android version and is new, with no ratings yet.

Skoove: questions and answers
Is Skoove free?
Partly. The app is free to download, and the free Basic tier unlocks a limited number of lessons, courses and songs. Premium opens everything. Many reviews say the paywall arrives after the first lesson or song, so treat the free part as a sample.
How much does Skoove cost?
Skoove's help center lists $29.99 a month, $59.99 every 3 months and $149.99 a year on its website. The US App Store lists Skoove Premium from $4.99 to $149.99, but Skoove says some are old promotional prices. US prices on November 3, 2026; they may change.
Is there a Skoove promo code?
AppHunt has no promo code for Skoove. Skoove sells gift vouchers, says some keyboard bundles ship with a voucher for a trial, and tells subscribers to read its newsletter for seasonal offers; coupon codes can be redeemed only on its website, under Account Settings. If you would rather not pay, Klavi is free to start, and AppHunt has a promo code at apphunt.app/app/klavi-pro that unlocks Klavi Pro.
Does Skoove have a free trial?
Yes. The site offers a 7-day free trial with full access, and says you may be asked for payment details and that it becomes a paid plan unless you cancel first. The help center also links an extended 14-day trial. Apple allows a trial once per Apple ID, and several reviewers in 2025 say they were charged right away or after the trial.
How do I cancel Skoove?
It depends where you bought it. On the website, open Account Settings and use the cancellation link at the bottom. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Skoove and cancel; deleting the app doesn't cancel anything. Skoove offers a 14-day refund for website purchases, and Apple handles App Store refunds.
Does Skoove work on a computer?
Not for lessons. Skoove's help center says lessons are available only in its iOS and Android apps, not on the desktop website or in a Windows or Mac app.
What is the best free alternative to Skoove?
