Nod or Rain Rain: how they compare
Rain Rain is already generous, so Nod, made by the AppHunt team, is an alternative mainly for people who dislike the banner ad or loops. Nod's rain, ocean waves, fan and white, pink and brown noise are generated live on the phone, which means they never repeat; it has no ads, no account and collects nothing. The free version gives 22 sounds with no time limit, mixes of three sounds, a sleep timer that fades out and a gentle alarm. Premium adds 34 sounds and larger mixes, and it is free with AppHunt's promo code from apphunt.app/app/nod-premium. Nod gives you fewer free sounds than Rain Rain's 50+. Its listing doesn't mention Rain Rain's Oscillator or Soften controls, and it has no Android app, while Rain Rain has one. Rain Rain also has a long track record. If the free Rain Rain already does the job, there is no need to switch.
