Plug AI app: is it free, what Plug AI costs and a free alternative
Vert Media Partners LLC · Lifestyle · ★ 4.6, 16K ratings in the US App Store · Free to download
AppHunt has no promo code for Plug AI, but we have one for the alternative below.
Best free alternative to Plug AI: Flirta
Plug AI's listing says the app requires a subscription, and reviewers describe a paywall, a three-day trial and a weekly charge. Flirta, an AppHunt partner app, also drafts openers and replies from a pasted message or chat screenshot, and AppHunt has a promo code that unlocks its paid version. With the AppHunt promo code you get the full version of Flirta for free, for good.
The Plug AI app is free to download, but its own App Store listing says it requires a subscription to use, so it has no free version. The US listing shows purchases named Premium and RizzGPT at $6.99, Premium - 25 Replies at $5.99 and Unlimited Annual at $59.99, without saying which period each one covers. US reviews from 2025 and 2026 describe a three-day trial that turns into a weekly charge; these are US App Store prices on November 2, 2026, and they may change.
Is Plug AI free?
Plug AI costs nothing to download on iPhone, but it is not free to use: the note at the end of its App Store description says the app requires a subscription to use. The listing mentions no free tier, no limit on free replies and no trial. US reviewers in 2025 and 2026 say the same from experience: a paywall every time they open the app, sometimes with no way to close it, a three-day free trial offered on that screen, and nothing generated without starting it. A few reviewers say they hadn't realized the app wasn't free before installing it.
How much does Plug AI cost?
The US App Store page lists Plug AI's purchases as Premium at $6.99 (shown several times), RizzGPT at $6.99, Limited Offer at $6.99, Premium - 25 Replies at $5.99, Unlimited Annual at $59.99 and two Spanish-named plans, Illimitado Semanal at $4.99 and Illimitado Anual at $49.99. The listing doesn't say whether Premium is a week, a month or something else, and there is no plan with the word weekly in English. Reviewers most often describe $6.99 charged weekly after a three-day trial; one says $23 was charged as soon as they tapped the trial button, and one reports a charge of $6.99 a day. Several say they were billed after cancelling. Because the listing is vague, check the price and the period on Apple's purchase sheet before you confirm. These are US App Store prices on November 2, 2026, and they may change.

Flirta or Plug AI: how they compare
Flirta, an AppHunt partner app, does the same core job as Plug AI: paste a message or a chat screenshot, say who you're writing to and what you mean, and it drafts an opener or a reply you can edit before sending. A tone slider offers friendly, playful, bold or subtle, one tap brings five openers, and it can polish a draft you wrote yourself, suggest date ideas near you and show short lessons on timing and boundaries. Its US listing shows Premium at $6.99 a month or $39.99 a year, not a weekly price, and AppHunt has a promo code at apphunt.app/app/flirta-ai-dating-assistant that unlocks its paid version. Flirta's listing doesn't say what its free version includes, so don't assume it is free to use without the code. It also does less than Plug AI in one respect: it has no chat bot for open-ended dating and self-improvement advice, only the in-app lessons. It is small too, with 52 ratings against 15,915, and English only. As with Plug AI, treat every suggestion as a draft and read it before you send it.

About Plug AI
Plug AI: Texting Assistant, from Vert Media Partners LLC, has been in the App Store since June 2023 and has 15,915 ratings averaging 4.6 in the US store. Its listing describes a texting and flirting assistant for iPhone: you upload a screenshot of a conversation to get custom replies, ask for opening lines, and chat with a bot called Plugbot for dating and self-improvement advice. It is English only, needs iOS 15 or later, and its latest version, 6.3, came out on August 2, 2024, so the app has not been updated for more than two years. The terms link in the listing, at vertmedia.io, shows a Wix error page instead of terms when opened. It suits people who want a chat bot as well as a reply writer and are fine paying for it.

Plug AI: questions and answers
Is Plug AI free?
Plug AI is free to download, but it isn't free to use: its App Store listing states that the app requires a subscription. There is no free tier described, and US reviews from 2025 and 2026 mostly describe a paywall on opening the app and a three-day trial before a paid plan starts, so expect to start a trial or pay before it writes anything.
How much does Plug AI cost?
The US App Store lists Premium at $6.99, RizzGPT at $6.99, Limited Offer at $6.99, Premium - 25 Replies at $5.99, Unlimited Annual at $59.99, Illimitado Semanal at $4.99 and Illimitado Anual at $49.99. It doesn't say the period for most of them. Reviewers most often name $6.99 a week after the trial, so the Plug AI price you see may depend on the offer. US prices on November 2, 2026; they may change.
Is there a Plug AI promo code?
AppHunt has no promo code for Plug AI, and its listing mentions no codes or coupons; the developer's website listed in the terms link does not load. If you want help with chat replies without a weekly price, AppHunt has a promo code that unlocks Flirta's paid version at apphunt.app/app/flirta-ai-dating-assistant.
Does Plug AI have a free trial?
The listing doesn't describe one, but reviewers say a three-day free trial is offered on the paywall and that it turns into a paid plan. Several say they were charged right away or after cancelling. If you start one, cancel in Apple's subscription settings at least 24 hours before it ends.
How do I cancel Plug AI?
If you subscribed through the App Store, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Plug AI and cancel, before the renewal date; deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription. Reviewers in 2025 and 2026 say they found it hard to cancel, that the contact email didn't work or that charges continued, so check your Apple subscriptions list afterward and ask Apple for a refund if you were charged.
What do reviews of the Plug AI app say?
Plug AI has 15,915 ratings averaging 4.6 in the US App Store, but the reviews written in 2025 and 2026 are mostly one star. They complain about the paywall, charges that came after a trial or a cancellation, replies that sound stilted or unrelated to the screenshot, and an app that freezes or doesn't answer. The few five-star reviews say it helped them chat with matches.
Is Plug AI a dating app?
No. Plug AI doesn't introduce you to anyone: it writes replies to chats you have elsewhere, and its listing names Tinder, Hinge, Wizz and iMessage. Flirta is the same kind of app.
