AppHunt has no promo code for Infuse, but we have one for the alternative below.
Best free alternative to Infuse: 70mm
Infuse is free to download, but AirPlay, Google Cast, Dolby Vision and library sync sit behind Infuse Pro. 70mm, from the AppHunt team, is a separate free player for Apple's phones, tablets, computers and TV box that opens MKV and AVI files and sends video to the TV without ads or an account. With the AppHunt promo code you get the full version of 70mm for free, for good.
Yes, in part. Infuse costs nothing to download and plays most formats, but Infuse Pro adds more formats, casting, Dolby Vision and iCloud sync. Pro costs $1.99 a month, $16.99 a year or $99.99 once in the US App Store on November 2, 2026; these prices may change.
Is Infuse free?
Firecore says Infuse is free to download. Its page lists, for the free app, playback of most formats, streaming from a Mac, PC or NAS and from Plex, Emby, Jellyfin and some cloud services such as Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive, plus artwork and metadata, subtitles, Trakt and parental controls. The App Store description lists cloud services such as Dropbox and Google Drive under Pro, so the two pages disagree on cloud access; check the in-app list before relying on it.
How much does Infuse cost?
Infuse Pro, sold inside the free app, adds more video formats, lossless 24-bit HD audio, casting by AirPlay or Google Cast, Dolby Vision profiles 5 and 8, Dolby Atmos, trailers, iCloud sync of playback progress and watched history, extra cloud services such as pCloud, Yandex.Disk and MEGA, and updates for life. It costs $1.99 a month, $16.99 a year or $99.99 for lifetime access, and Firecore says it includes a free 7-day trial. The App Store listing says some in-app purchases can be shared with a Family Sharing group. US App Store prices on November 2, 2026; they may change.

70mm or Infuse: how they compare
70mm, from the AppHunt team, is another video player, not a lighter Infuse. It opens MKV, AVI, WMV, MP4, MOV and many other containers, handles styled SRT, WebVTT and ASS subtitles, switches audio tracks, and browses a NAS or computer on your network over SMB, SFTP, FTP, WebDAV or NFS, so it works without copying files. One app covers all four Apple devices, and it can send a video in any format to the TV with your phone as the remote; it also supports Picture in Picture, plus AirPlay for MP4 and MOV files and Chromecast for the rest. Everything is free with no ads, account or subscription. 70mm Pro is a one-time $14.99 purchase for unlimited TV playback, unlimited servers, synced position, on-device subtitle translation and a Face ID folder, and AppHunt has a promo code that unlocks it at apphunt.app/app/70mm-pro. Infuse is the more polished library app. It has posters and metadata, Trakt sync, Plex, Emby and Jellyfin support, Dolby Vision and cloud services, none of which 70mm lists. 70mm also needs iOS 26 and has no ratings yet, so Infuse is the safer choice on an older iPhone.
