This policy covers the Cutback iPhone app and this website. Cutback is published by Glory Mae Dagapioso.

Short version: Cutback has no account and no server. Your subscriptions, the screenshots you import and the statements you import stay on your iPhone.

What the app collects

Nothing. Cutback has no sign-up, no login and no analytics or tracking code. It does not send your subscriptions, prices, screenshots or statements anywhere, and the developer cannot see them.

Where your data lives

The subscriptions you add are stored in a database inside the app's own storage on your iPhone, shared with the Cutback widgets so they can show the same numbers. Deleting the app deletes the database with it.

Photos

If you import from a screenshot, iOS asks which images to share and Cutback receives only those. The text is read on your iPhone with Apple's Vision framework. The image is not copied, kept or uploaded — only the subscription names, prices and dates you then choose to add are saved.

Files

If you import a bank statement, you pick one CSV file and Cutback reads it in memory to find repeating charges. The file is not copied, kept or uploaded. Only the subscriptions you choose to add are saved.

Notifications

Renewal reminders are local notifications scheduled by the app on your device. No push server is involved and nothing about your subscriptions leaves the phone to produce them.

Purchases

Cutback Pro is sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and tells the app whether the purchase is active. Cutback never sees your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy covers that transaction.

Children

Cutback is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

This website

apphunt.app uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It records the usual web request information — pages viewed, approximate region, browser and device type — and does not identify you. The app does not use it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
