Askaway is a question card game for iPhone. It is built so that everything you play stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. Askaway has no account or sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not run a server that receives your data.
What stays on your iPhone
- Player names, saved cards, your own decks, the cards you have already seen and your settings are stored in a file inside the app. They are part of your normal iPhone backup and are deleted with the app.
- AI follow-ups and AI decks use Apple's on-device language model (Apple Intelligence) where available. What you type is processed on your iPhone and is not sent to us or to anyone else.
- Sharing a card creates an image on your iPhone and hands it to the iOS share sheet; you choose where it goes.
- Question of the day reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone; you can turn them off at any time.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details; Apple's privacy policy applies to those transactions.
Adult content
Spicy cards are hidden until you confirm in the app that you are 18 or older. This choice is stored only on your device.
Children
Askaway does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
