Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms apply to the Onda app for iPhone, published by apphunt (“we”, “us”). Onda is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement together with these terms. By using Onda you agree to both.
Onda is not a method of contraception, does not diagnose or treat any condition, and its predictions are estimates. Please read sections 1 and 2.
1. Information, not medical care
- Onda helps you log and understand your own cycle. Predictions of periods, the fertile window and ovulation are estimates based on what you log and on published averages. They can be wrong — especially with irregular cycles, after stopping hormonal contraception, after giving birth or while breastfeeding, with conditions such as PCOS, and in perimenopause.
- Onda does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it is not a regulated medical device. Notes such as “worth discussing with a doctor” are prompts to seek advice, not diagnoses.
- Talk to a doctor or another qualified professional before making health decisions. Seek care promptly for severe pain, very heavy bleeding, bleeding during pregnancy or after menopause, fainting, or no period for three months. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
2. Onda is not contraception
- Onda is not a method of contraception or birth control and must not be used to prevent pregnancy. There are no “safe days”: pregnancy is possible on any day of the cycle.
- Fertile-window and ovulation estimates, LH-test results and temperature charts are information for you. They cannot guarantee or prevent a pregnancy, and they do not replace a pregnancy test or a doctor.
3. The assistant
“Ask about your cycle” writes its answers automatically with Apple’s on-device language model, from a summary of your journal. Answers can be incomplete or wrong and are not medical advice. The assistant works only on iPhones that support Apple Intelligence; everything else in Onda works without it.
4. Your data and backups
- Your journal is stored only on your iPhone (see our Privacy Policy). We keep no copy, so we cannot restore data that is lost, deleted or left on an old device.
- Keep your iPhone backed up and export an Onda backup from time to time (Me › Your data › Export backup). You are responsible for keeping your iPhone, your backup files and anything you share safe.
5. Onda Pro
- What is free: logging, predictions, the calendar and cycle history, all goal modes, reminders, widgets, Siri, Apple Health sync, backups and partner sharing. Onda Pro adds patterns, temperature and LH charts, the doctor PDF report and unlimited questions to the assistant (three are free).
- Onda Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription — yearly (with a free trial where offered) or monthly — and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy and may differ by country.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. If your plan starts with a free trial, the first payment is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. If you allow notifications, Onda reminds you two days before a trial ends.
- A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends. If the price changes, Apple informs you in advance and, where required, asks for your agreement.
- Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- The lifetime purchase is a single payment and never renews.
- Onda Pro can be shared with up to five other members of your Family Sharing group.
- Purchases are processed by Apple under the App Store’s terms. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. To restore Pro on another device, use Me › About › Restore purchases, or Restore on the Pro screen.
- If Pro ends, nothing you logged is deleted; the Pro features lock again.
6. Using Onda
Onda is for your personal, non-commercial use. Don’t copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell it, except where the law allows. We may update, change or stop features of the app; updates are delivered through the App Store.
7. Warranty and liability
- Onda is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties — including that predictions or estimates are accurate, or that the app will work without interruption or errors.
- To the fullest extent the law allows, apphunt is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, for loss of data, or for the outcome of decisions based on information in Onda — including an unintended pregnancy or a delayed diagnosis. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Onda Pro in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud — or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Apple
These terms are between you and apphunt, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Onda or its content. Apple Health, Apple Intelligence, Siri and the App Store are provided by Apple under Apple’s own terms.
9. Changes, governing law and contact
- We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. We announce significant changes in the app’s release notes. If you keep using Onda after a change, the updated terms apply.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the country where apphunt is established. If you live in the EU, the UK or another country with mandatory consumer protections, you keep those protections and may bring claims in your local courts.
