Questions about Klavi
Does Klavi work with an acoustic piano?
Yes. The microphone picks up an acoustic or a digital piano and the app waits for the note it expects. A digital piano or keyboard can also be connected over USB or Bluetooth MIDI, which makes the tracking exact.
Do I need a piano to use it?
Klavi is built around a real instrument, but there are keys on the screen for when you have none at hand — enough for the lessons and the trainers.
Is Klavi free?
Yes to download. The Piano Basics course, the first lesson of every other course, 11 easy songs and one daily round of each trainer are free. Klavi Pro unlocks every course, every song at every level and unlimited trainer rounds.
What does the AppHunt code give?
The one-time Klavi Pro purchase, free. It is the lifetime unlock the app sells, not a subscription: nothing renews and nothing is charged later. One code per Apple Account.
Does Klavi record my playing?
No. Sound is analysed on the device while you play and is never recorded or uploaded. There is no account, and your progress stays on your phone.
What is in the courses?
Six courses with 36 lessons: Piano Basics, Essentials I and II, Chords I and II and Classical I. Each lesson is a short explanation followed by an exercise that is checked note by note, and sheet music is taught from the first lesson.
